Lecturers and researchers from ETSETB featured in the CSIC ranking of women scientists

The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) has published the 5th edition of the Ranking of Women Scientists, which includes data on Spanish researchers and international researchers working in Spain. Of the 12,110 researchers included in this edition, 168 are from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech (UPC), 22 of whom are from the Barcelona School of Telecommunications Engineering (ETSETB).

Also included are researchers partially involved in undergraduate and master's teaching at ETSETB, such as Marta Ruiz Costa Jussà, Sonia Lanzalaco, Muriel Botey Cumella and Jasmina Casals Terré, as well as retired lecturers such as Marta Net and Paz Morillo.
Highlighting women’s talent in research
The Ranking of Spanish women researchers and/or researchers working in Spain is produced by the CSIC Cybermetrics Lab with the aim of increasing the visibility of women's work in science and promoting open science. The study is based on public data from Google Scholar and ranks researchers according to their h-index and the number of citations received.
