CAMCYBS

Nature

The Academic Commission of the Master's Degree in Cybersecurity (CAMCYBS) is the commission responsible for the management of the Master's Degree in Cybersecurity (MCYBERS) regarding the competencies entrusted by the Permanent Commission and the Board of the ETSETB, and the Permanent Commission and the Board of the FIB. These competencies include those specified in the verification report and the processes associated with the Quality Plan of the ETSETB and the preparation of follow-up and accreditation self-reports of the MCYBERS.

Exceptionally, and in duly justified cases, the director of the ETSETB can authorize exceptions to this regulation.

Functions

The functions of the CAMCYBS are:

a) Those specified in the verification document of the degree: access and admission of students, transfer and recognition of credits, and selection of training complements required by students to access the master's program.

b) Supervise the tutoring process of students with insufficient performance.

c) Analyze the indicators of the reports prepared by the management team as specified by the Internal Quality Assurance System (SGIQ) of the ETSETB and make improvement proposals.

d) Submit the annual follow-up report of the MCYBERS defined in the SGIQ of the ETSETB.

e) All functions entrusted by the permanent commissions of the centers and, in particular, those granted by the SGIQ of the ETSETB and the FIB.

f) Within its scope of action, develop the regulations established by the different governing bodies of the ETSETB and the FIB, as well as make the necessary proposals.

g) Anything that can contribute to the proper fulfillment of its objectives and that is not the responsibility of a governing body of the ETSETB or the FIB.

 

Composition

The CAMCYBS will be constituted by:

a) The director of the ETSETB or the person to whom they delegate.

b) The dean of the FIB or the person to whom they delegate.

c) The head of studies of MCYBERS, who presides over it.

d) The head of the Computer Architecture Department or the person to whom they delegate.

e) The head of the Telematics Engineering Department or the person to whom they delegate.

f) Three professors responsible for subjects of the MCYBERS.

The president of the Commission may invite a member of the Academic Secretariat, assigned by the head of the Degree and Master's Studies Management Unit of the ETSETB or the FIB, who will act in an advisory capacity, with a voice but without a vote, when the theme of the meeting requires it.

In each session, the president of the Commission designates among the attendees the person who will perform the functions of secretary of the session.



 

Term and Renewal

The term of office for faculty not mentioned in section d) of article 3 is two years. These are appointed by the president of the Commission, once the departments that teach the degree, the director of the ETSETB, and the dean of the FIB are considered.

All appointments are submitted to the Permanent Commission of the ETSETB and the FIB for approval.
