Bachelor’s seminars

General information

Who are they aimed at? ETSETB bachelor’s students
Type: Optional
Maximum number that can be taken: 3 seminar subjects (maximum 6 optional ECTS credits).
Characteristics: Each seminar is 20 face-to-face hours (2 optional ECTS credits). They are part of the optional subject area.
When can they be taken? Once the initial stage of the degree has been completed. 

The NAGRAMA establishes that: “As a general rule, students are required to have passed the minimum number of credits established by the school for the initial stage of the degree (see Section 5.5 of the academic progress regulations) before formally enrolling for any compulsory or optional subjects in other curricular areas.”

Exception: If you want to take the seminar INTRODUCTION TO MATHEMATICS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERING (IMATEC), which is a levelling seminar, you must enrol in the first enrolment because it is taught before the start of the first semester of the degree. More information here.


Calendar

Seminars can be taught in various periods: after the exam period (end of January or end of June), throughout the academic year or during the first or last period of the academic year.
